Life study of an unstrung violin, a frayed bow, discarded music annotation and scattered pearls amongst rich red velvet. I was prompted to create a piece of artwork that represented a music genre. Baroque being rooted in a sense of disarray, unstructured styles and 'imperfection', I wanted to incorporate this theme within a still life artwork that told a story of a musicians scene.
