Angeline is a self-taught artist that is looking forward to exploring and expanding her artistic journey. Artwork for her is painting snapshots of memories, and she also trying to evoke memories in others. She is inspired by her travels within Australia. She was lucky that her work as a scientist allowed her to travel and see galleries around the world. Unfortunately, painting time was constrained. In 2022, she finally made the decision to follow her passion for painting.
Angeline completed her Ph.D. and worked as a senior scientist, intellectual property manager, and commercialization manager for the last 30 years. Successful scientists must be creative like artists to envision new ideas, and to design experiments to demonstrate these inventions into practice.
Angeline is a member of GEAS, VAS, and more recently MSWPS. She received a highly commended award from VAS in 2022 and 1st place People’s Choice from GEAS in 2023. She has established an art critique group with fellow artists and in 2023 she joined Jenny Scholes’ abstract painting class. She is enthusiastic about developing her art practice and learning from others.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
