A reflection on the 2024 Bayindeen Bushfires. From my own experience and reference photos, 'After the Fire, Mt Cole' depicts the devastation to the environment caused by the recent bushfires; the loss of undergrowth and the stripping of colour from the trees, leaving behind this bleak, rust coloured, sparse landscape.
