This small, circular oil painting is a preparation study for a series revisiting photographs taken earlier in my practice. Returning to these images years later has brought a different perspective, shaped by changes in both the world and my own way of seeing. The work reflects on place, time and the quiet uncertainty of how long the familiar environments around us will remain.
