Sunday 11 Jun 2023, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Join us at the Victorian Artists Society for a demonstration of landscape painting with award winning artist Gwendoline Krumins VAS.

During this demonstration, Gwendoline will produce a quick oil sketch from a reference, but liken
the process to a plein air study.

Throughout the afternoon, she will discuss her thinking process as she paints, giving you a
guideline as to how to develop and order your thoughts.

Gwendoline's plein air studies are often observations for larger studio works. She will share her
techniques, give you some tips and hopefully inspire you.

Gwendoline’s subject matter has usually originated from inspirations of overseas travel and portraiture but has developed into observing windows closer to home during lockdowns. Solace and creativity came from surrounding subjects whilst walking each day noticing the gardens evolving through the seasons. Gwendoline has won numerous awards, including the 2021 Artist of the Year, commendations, and has judged many art exhibitions.

Due to limited space RSVP is essential. Afternoon tea will be available.
