Watercolour for Beginners with Nathalie Anne

This watercolour class is intended to be a warm and friendly environment, aiming to provide a series of exercises and demonstrations designed to extend students’ understanding of the techniques of watercolour at each stage. New information will be added progressively so that previous techniques are retained and improved through continuous exercise. In this course you will expect to:  

• Establish and expand your knowledge in painting with washes, layers and brush techniques
• Develop strategies to painting before you start 
• Learn how to keep watercolours transparent and beautiful while considering tone and light/shadow 
• Develop your ability to tackle different subjects while becoming comfortable with the medium  

There will be no class on Monday 12 June due to the public holiday.
