I am an oil painter, residing in Naarm/Melbourne. My love of art and painting was established early as a child. Growing up we had an art studio in our backyard and my parents would take us to visit friends of theirs who were prominent painters in Melbourne. I studied perspective drawing and scaled design in my Building & Landscape Design classes. I have also attended various painting workshops and weekly oil painting classes with artist, John Lawry. I enjoy trying new techniques & styles whenever I get the chance and have been working with a range of mediums including Oil Paint, Oil Pastel, Gold Leaf and Gouache. I have recently been accepted as full member of the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, and have just begun my journey of publicly exhibiting my artworks. When I'm not painting I'm usually planting vegetables or playing with my kids in their fairy garden.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
