I am an Australian visual artist and have been painting for 4 years. I have a home on the ocean at Serua, Fiji and another in rice farming land in Ban Muang, NE Thailand. Prior to painting I had a career as a geoscientist which gave me the opportunity to travel the world.
My artistic inspiration is the natural landscape, from seascapes to arid interiors. I am particularly intrigued by the changing texture and light under different atmospheric conditions and how that can affect the observer’s mood. I work mainly with acrylic and oil, on canvas and board
I have under taken Artist workshops and courses at the Julian Ashton School in Sydney, Melbourne School of Art and the Victorian Arts Society. I have exhibited in the Fijian National Fine Arts Exhibitions and am a member of the Fiji Arts Council.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
