Hello,
I was born in England and I came out to Australia in 1989.
Painting helps me process my feelings and I work directly from the motif for this reason.
I've joined VAS to help me connect with other artists because I'm not a natural networker and I haven't found a gallery that suits me.
At the moment I'm still working full-time and I'm finishing a MA Social Work, but I'm thinking ahead to my retirement, when I hope to have more time to spend painting.
I paint the natural world and animals because they resonate with me.
