Inspired by the Impressionists, and was grateful for the teachings by renown artists such as Shirley Bourne (V.A.S) and John Balmain. She continued to develop her skills in tonal realism and enjoyed exciting spontaneity in water colours, fluidity of classic oils and drawing feel in pastels in creating light, mood and atmosphere.

Her biggest achievement was when her painting, Pond of Tranquility was selected and represented in the International Artist Book Vol.2, Flowers and Gardens (2004). Portraiture has been her special area for some years and since relocating, she was involved in her children’s education, was proactive with art, hospitality and study in reflexology (2019-2020).
Inspired by her travels, love of culture, art history and the ocean, she is painting and currently renovating to run a business in B&B with future plans in the horizon.
