Description

This is a 2 day practical workshop in which you will explore different mediums and the effects they produce both independently and when combined.

Day 1, you will learn the basic of drawing in charcoal and learn how to manipulate the medium to achieve various effects.

Day 2, you will build on your knowledge of charcoal and explore watercolour and pastel as a means of creating strong vibrant compositions.

The course has been specifically designed to acquaint you with the basics of materials, equipment and methods used and enough practical skills to enable you to later continue in advance drawing or watercolour class.

It Hao Pheh
In 1991, It Hao Pheh received a full scholarship to study at the Malaysian Institute of Art, majoring in oil painting. In 1999 Pheh exchanged tropical Malaysia for the green fields of England where he completed an honours degree in Fine Art at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design.
