Description
Drawing is a foundational skill for all other art forms. This course will explore the basics of drawing in terms of techniques, subject matter and materials. Using still life, photographic references and live models, we will work through the basic principles of drawing, including line, tone, negative space, perspective and composition. We will also learn how to use the basic tools of drawing: pencil, charcoal, and ink.
A materials kit will be provided for all students, included with the class fees.
