Description
Birds are our constant companions; we see them in our gardens, backyards, out on our walks—they are all around us. In Term Three we will take birds as our primary subject matter as we have fun exploring the colour, tone, texture and attitude of our feathered friends.
We will look at the anatomy of features such as feet, eyes, wings and feathers, sketch from ‘life’, create sketches in graphite with colour wash, culminating in a final full tonal A3 graphite drawing of your chosen bird subject in the environment.
