This painting is in response to the disastrous NSW bush fires of 2019-20. The township of Broulee was one of many affected districts where most of the natural flora and fauna were impacted. Painted using Acrylic paint and Banksia charcoal fragments. My paintings reflect on the Australian identity with coastal habitation, climate and narrative.
