This inaugural year will see the Australian Society of Marine Artists collaborate with the Victorian Artists Society in an exhibition of Marine and Maritime works of art.

ASMA was formed 25 years ago in line with many similar international entities to provide a forum and exhibiting platform supporting the interest of its members: artists, sculptors, model makers, historians, students, lay persons and other maritime organisations interested in maritime affairs and to cooperate in recording Australia’s maritime history past and present.

There will be an official opening on Sunday 4th December creating the opportunity to meet with likeminded artists and those interested in the unique Marine/Maritime Genre.

The following workshop will be held in the Frater Gallery during the Exhibition:
